Pathway to Common Ground Positive Supports invites individuals with ID/DD, those who support them, and others interested in our work to join us for a virtual Meet & Greet and Introduction to Positive Supports.
This is an opportunity to meet members of our team, learn more about Pathway to Common Ground, explore the services and supports we provide, and ask questions about how we can partner with you or someone you support.
Pathway to Common Ground provides person-centered, relationship-focused, trauma-informed, and neurodiversity-affirming positive supports for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities and the people who support them.
Our work is grounded in the belief that positive support is about more than reducing behaviors. It is about understanding the person, building meaningful connection, strengthening skills and relationships, supporting self-determination, and creating opportunities for people to experience greater dignity, belonging, and quality of life.
During the Meet & Greet, we will introduce the different ways Pathway to Common Ground can provide support, including:
We will also talk about how our services can support individuals, families, residential providers, schools, employment teams, and other members of a person's support network.
Our work is individualized to each person. Areas of support may include:
Each Meet & Greet will include a brief introduction to Pathway to Common Ground, an overview of our philosophy and approach, information about our services, examples of the types of support we can provide, and plenty of time for questions and conversation.
There is no pressure to participate verbally. You are welcome to keep your camera off, listen, and use the chat to ask questions if that is more comfortable for you.
